Pan-Fried Gourmet Peas With Bayonne Ham

Directions

Step 1

Remove the tips of the snow peas. Wash them and cook them for 3 minutes uncovered in salted water. Rinse under cold water and drain.

Step 2

Finely chop the peeled onion and the Espelette pepper. Peel, degerm and chop the garlic. Remove the rind from the ham and cut it into strips.

Step 3

Heat the butter in a frying pan and cook the ham, onion, chilli and garlic without browning. Add the snow peas, season generously with pepper and mix.

Step 4

Let cook for 5 minutes on low heat. Serve hot. Our advice: Add small croutons of rye bread toasted in butter.
